Well maybe it's just my dogs. I first noticed it with Ava a few weeks ago. We've recently had to find a new walking route and our path crosses many sewer covers. As we were walking towards one, Ava swerved to the right to avoid it and then promptly returned to her course after passing it. At the time I just assumed it was one of Ava's many quirks. I did mention she was a bit of a spaz, right? And its no different when she's on a leash. Actually it might be a bit worse.

But then today on our nightly walk Leo did the same thing! So I decided to test it out a few more times. I purposely walked the dogs towards several sewer covers and every time they swerved to avoid them. Weird dog trait or just weird dogs?
